Mobile GIS enterprise technology enables workers in the field to be more productive, improve business operations, and communicate effectively.  Getting critical data from the field and back into the enterprise, finding the right device, and providing targeted application that is specific to tasks performed in the field are just some of the challenges unique to mobile GIS.  To support your field workers' needs, ESRI provides a suite of mobile solutions that includes ArcGIS Mobile/ArcGIS Server. This session will discuss the creation of both customized and out-of-the box GIS-enabled applications for mobile clients, as well as other considerations when pursuing a mobile solution (such as hardware selection).
